The Premier also mentioned several examples from previous inspections and discussions: Haier Company makes employees of large enterprises become entrepreneurs through the platform of creating customers; CITIC Heavy Industries in Henan Province vigorously carries out "double-venture" within large enterprises; and the core design of Hualong I of CNNUC has gathered more than 500 terminals and thousands of people in more than 20 cities through the Internet. The strength is concentrated on tackling key problems.
"One of the great features of the Internet is to gather people's wisdom." Seeking solutions globally through the Internet can save a lot of manpower and intelligence. Li Keqiang said, "This is the only way for the development of modern industry."
The Prime Minister stressed that promoting the innovation and development of manufacturing industry requires not only the innovation of large enterprises, but also the collaborative innovation of large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises. Local governments should support manufacturing enterprises to build a "double innovation" platform based on the Internet, relying on the national demonstration base of new industrialization industry and national economic and technological development zones to build a "double innovation" demonstration base. Telecom enterprises should further increase the speed and reduce the cost of broadband access in Shuangchuang Base.
Talking about using big data from the Internet to change the traditional manufacturing industry, Li Keqiang took the suit pattern used by the Chinese clothing industry as an example. In the past, either Japan or Europe had not produced its own pattern, because it was very difficult to collect data one by one. Big data now provides a new path. A garment enterprise in Jiangsu Province has accumulated more than 2 million typographic data two or three years ago. With big data, you can support personalized customization on top of basic formats.

Li Keqiang inspected Ningxia Shared Equipment Co., Ltd. on February 2, 2016.
